Sit & Tell
This was a project done for AIGA Toledo’s Sit & Tell Exhibition. Local designers and artists were picked to design a chair inspired by stories from women all over the community. My team was given a story about a Polish grandmother that came to America with nothing, but hope. She was passionate about giving back to the community and had a huge garden that fed her family and neighbors. My design, concept, and color scheme was chosen out of everyone’s on the team. In turn, everyone else was able to provide more assets to add to the pattern. Later, the chairs were auctioned off at the Toledo Museum of Art.
