This branding project was created for a fictional 826 store based in San Antonio. 826 stores are eclectic storefronts that are actually a cover for tutoring and writing support for children and teens. This store was very inspired by Mexican culture, values and traditions. More specifically, Dia de Los Muertos and the importance of family. The goal was that it would have the essence of a home away from home. Abuelita’s kiss embodies the spirit of being as comforting as a hot plate of homemade food and a kiss on your forehead from your abuelita (grandma).
